Guru 360 gimbal now compatible with Kodak SP360 4k Dual Pro; can also be used inverted

The Guru 360, the first 360 gimbal for consumers (previewed here), now includes an adapter that makes it compatible with the Kodak SP360 4k Dual Pro.  They also posted a video that shows it CAN be used upside down.

I reviewed the Insta360 Air the other day, declaring it the best 360 camera for personal use (if you have a compatible Android phone) and indeed, it is selling so quickly that the Micro USB version is now sold out at Amazon, its official distributor.  But don't worry, here's where to find it.

Pricing and new photos of Malata's clone of the LG 360 Cam


Hungarian mobile site Mobilearena.hu posted the price and new photos of Malata's LG 360 clone, called the F1.  The phone looks very similar to the LG 360 Cam and according to Mobilearena, it will sell for approximately $90.  The specs are as previously posted (3008 x 1504 photos, 1080p video).

Vuze 3D 360 camera - unboxing and first impressions of the first affordable 3D 360 camera for consumers


The other day, I got a package from Hong Kong.  I thought it was a sample 360 camera from a Chinese manufacturer.  But then I saw on the label: Humaneyes.  Woohoo!  After more than a year of anticipation, I finally got the Vuze camera, the world's first affordable 3D 360 camera.  Here is an unboxing video and my first impressions.  Update: see also my Vuze stitching demo and tutorial.

Insta360 Air Live Stream comparison: Wi-Fi vs. Cell signal


The Insta360 Air ($129; reviewed here) is a 360 camera accessory for Android phones.  It is one of the few 360 cameras that are capable of wireless 360 live streaming (most other 360 cameras cannot live stream, or need an HDMI or USB connection to a computer in order to do a 360 live stream).  Here is a comparison between the live stream quality between Wi-Fi and LTE with a cell phone signal only.
