Cat360 is a fully spherical 4k 360 camera with realtime stitching

Cat360 is a new fully spherical 4k 360 camera from China that features realtime stitching.

Updatepricing and sample video here.

Here are the key specs:
- two lenses
- Video resolution: up to 3840 x 1920 @ 30fps
- Photo resolution: 3840 x 2160
- six-core processor with realtime in-camera stitching
- Micro SD card memory up to 128GB
- 2000 mAh battery with up to 90 minutes recording time in 4k
- compact size:  90mm x 34.8mm x 44mm
- weight: 160g

The holes on its side appear to be designed to radiate heat allowing it to record for 90 minutes in 4k with realtime stitching where some 360 cameras overheat after about 20 to 25 minutes.

Cat360 is manufactured by CatEyes, which offers end-to-end services including cloud-based live streaming.  I will see if I can get sample photos or videos from this camera.

Thank you very much to Roman Goldman of for bringing this to my attention!

  1. Given the thickness of the device I will am curious to see how the stitching looks. But I guess at that resolution it is not a big deal really.

    1. Hi Steve! I'm curious myself. I'll try to post samples as soon as I can.

      Best regards,
